How does your congregation celebrate Palm/Passion Sunday?

The Sunday of the Passion (also known as Palm Sunday) marks the transition into Holy Week. What does your congregation do to celebrate this day?

Do you have a dramatic reading of the passion story? A procession (inside or outdoors) with palms? What makes this Sunday memorable for members of your congregation?

We have a Palm/Passion Sunday Festival worship with the procession of palms, reading of the gospel and special music featuring our vocal choirs, hand-bells and in-house orchestra.

Today we celebrated Palm Sunday and the beginning of Holy Week with The Cry of the Whole Congregation by Walt Wangerin, Jr. Our congregation finds this interactive worship for the Way of the Cross very meaningful.
