April 22 is not only Earth Day this year, it’s Good Friday. Are you (or is your congregation) doing anything to care for creation on this day or week?
What do you plan to do? How are other people in your community getting involved?

See the Holy Holiday post in the The Sheepdog's Spot in the blog section of Living Lutheran.
Why are we worried about Earth Day? As The Sheepdog's Spot reminds us, it is Good Friday. Best I can tell, that trumps any made up "holiday" for "social justice". My husband & I will be at the Tenebrae Service at our church, remembering our Savior's death on the cross and preparing to celebrate His resurrection.
For 30+ years, I've tried to treat every day as earth day. I've always chosen small cars with high gas mileage and combine errands. I've used canvas shopping bags for years. I've recycled when it wasn't convenient. Little things, but they add up over the years. It's nice to live in a place, now, where those things are the norm instead of exceptions.
