Is there a place for texting during worship?

Christine Stephan in her blog today talks about texting from the pew. Many younger members have their fingers seemingly permanently attached to their phones. Is there a way to use their texting skills to help them become more involved in worship?

What if confirmation students sent comments about the sermon or music to the pastor or other leader during the service to be read later?

Txting is a useful way for people in the nursery to reach any parents in the service when they are needed

What about texting "Peace of the Lord be with you" as you settle back into your pew to someone who isn't in church that day or a church goer?
