Do you schedule no-one-can-reach-me time?

Brian Beckstrom writes in his blog about realizing he had no cell phone service at summer camp. Even if you are not at an isolated camp, do you make it a point to have such private time, when a knock on the door is the only way someone can contact you?

Do you find it hard to cut the ties to the electronic world? What are the benefits when you do?

Automatic out of office reply: I am sorry, I cannot be reached at this time... Actually, no. I am available 24/7/365 and 366 in Leap Year. Gotta go... cell phone ringing and I haven't updated my status in like minutes....
