My favorite Bible verse: John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.”

My favorite person in the Bible: Abraham.

My favorite Christmas carol: “Silent Night.”

My favorite potluck dish: baked chicken and mashed potatoes.

My favorite junk food: potato chips.

Someone who inspires me: Bishop Desmond Tutu.

I was most proud of my congregation when: I had my wedding anniversary.

I was most frustrated with my congregation when: members left.

The ministry I’m most passionate about: teaching.

I feel most Lutheran when: I celebrate baptism and communion.

What “living Lutheran” means to me: salvation by grace through faith.

I’m doing God’s work with my hands when: I serve the poor and neglected.
