Good teachers can have an enormous effect on their students. They can open doors that were locked — doors that perhaps were not even seen.

I had a Sunday School teacher who would bring me my Sunday School lessons to my home when I was confined to bed with illness for several months when I was six years old. She prayed I would someday be pastor of our congregation. Well, I am a pastor, but not of that church.
