Wall Street has been hammered in recent days. On paper that college fund or retirement account isn’t worth what it was a week ago.
How do you cope when economic forces threaten your current or future financial health?

I used to worry and fret that we'd lose all our savings and then what would we do... One day during a time of meditating the thought came to me, "If I were to lose all my money then I wouldn't have to worry about losing all my money ever again." As crazy as that may sound, because new worries would arrive, it gave me a sense of peace that God was saying, "I'll take care of you." Since that day I don't worry anymore. I have taken measures to protect my funds, but I don't look at them except for the quarterly reports. It is what it is, and I can't change the way the market messes around, but I can change the way I respond to it.
