If you make wine, what life lessons have you learned?

This year’s grapes have likely been picked, crushed and the juice is starting fermentation. The process of making wine takes time, patience and precision, and the results, good or bad, will only appear far down the road. If this is one of your hobbies, what has it taught you about life?
