As an example that grace flows into this world through me, not from me.

Mary had to set aside her personal ambitions, whatever they may have been, to do God's will. I can appreciate that.

When God calls a person He can do it in a dramatic fashion as with Mary or simply through a class setting as in CLA (Congregational Leadership Academy) which I have had the privilege of attending at Concordia in Moorhead MN. Angels (our 2 pastor leaders) and others led by The Spirit have prodded, pushed, and pricked us in ways that have opened our eyes to "a calling" that we can make our own. I especiallly have loved the spiritual gifts session which I have also enjoyed sharing with the man group of my church. God's call on our lives is dramatic and personal with or without an Angel!
