Eric

My vocation (or calling in life): pastor.

My congregation: The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Monroeville, Pa.

My faith background is (if applicable): Lutheran, Disciples of Christ, Baptist and Lutheran again.

My favorite Bible verse: The one who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! (Revelation 22:20).

My favorite potluck dish: Swiss chard.

My favorite junk food: McAnything.

I like my coffee: strong and black.

My perfect day: no day is perfect.

Someone who inspires me: the Holy Spirit.

People would be surprised to know that: not all mainline religions are alike.

The hymn I want played at my funeral: I’m hoping Jesus comes back before I die.

The ministry I’m most passionate about: evangelism.

I feel most Lutheran when: I wear my “Sola” T-shirt.

What “living Lutheran” means to me: living every day.

I’m doing God’s work with my hands when: I do anything in faith.
