How does your exercise routine change with the seasons?

Do you take your exercise inside if the weather turns colder? Or do you embrace the season and make the weather your friend? Either way, some winter days can make a simple walk not so simple. Perhaps you get frustrated and decide to just do arm curls with a hot beverage while waiting for spring.

Nothing beats a brisk walk oudoors in God's Creation. However, God also created weight rooms, treadmills, and racquetball courts, and they have a certain appeal when the temperatures turn frgid. Of course, it is most important for us to exercise our faith each day with prayer and scripture reading. "For what will it profit you to gain the whole world [health and physical fitness included] but forfeit yout soul?" Mark 8:36

I have several ways to exercise -- none of them too strenuous, but they are a good way to work my way into a 'real' exercise program. I have a 'gazelle' at home that, right now, I can only do 5-10 minutes on at a time. I also use a Weight Watchers walking DVD over at the church. This has several 'walks' on it. I'm still on the 10 minute walk -- and even there I haven't incorporated the arm movements too much. My third way of exercise is walk the perimeter of the parish hall either reading a book or listening to a book on my MP3 player. Like I said, nothing too strenuous, but at least I'm starting to exercise and I'll work up from here.
