Dublin, Ireland, New Year's Eve/Day 2009-2010: Saw where St. Patrick had his first baptism in Ireland, toured Christ's cathedral, saw the one Lutheran church in Dublin, and saw where U2 went to high school. In Ireland, church news is front page news. The Irish were very friendly. Stumbled into an international (African, Polish, Middle Eastern) market -- great fun, great food. That vacation ranks right up there with our Lutheran Land Tour and a "Murder Mystery Weekend" at the Allenberry Play House in Boiling Springs, PA. We all need time away.
