Long winter nights were made for getting comfortable with a good book. Unfortunately, there are more books than nights. Which book would you put at the top your current must-read list? What about it made an impact on you?

I would highly recommend "Christ's Church" by Bo Giertz . Although written in 1939 by a man who would go on to be a Bishop in the Church of Sweden, this book, just recently translated into English by Pastor Hans Andrea, is extremely relevant for American Lutheran churches today.

"Falling Upward: A Spirituality for the two halves of life" by Father Richard Rohr. This is about what happens to us on the other side of crisis that brings maturity and peace to our spiritual journeys.

Currently reading, "Re-Claiming the Bible for a non-religious world" by Sprong. Others to recommend would be, "the Heart is a Little to the Left" by Coffin and "Love Wins" by Bell.
