How do you find peace?

Rarely does a day go by for most of us that we don’t yearn for a little peace. It might be peace of mind or just some peace and quiet. When your mind and body need that break, what do you do? How do you find the temporary refuge that allows you to calm your thoughts?

In the morning, while it was still very dark, [Jesus] got up and went to a deserted place, and there he prayed. Mark 1:35

Praying Matins by myself early in the morning is a peaceful time. Also, getting away by myself for a few minutes, once or twice over the course of the day, with a good book (esp. sermons by an evangelical preacher) with a cup of coffee are other peaceful times.

But most of all, just knowing that I am loved by Christ who died for me gives me peace anywhere, anytime.
