How long is your commute?

Can you walk to work, or do you have a bit of a drive each day? If the drive is extended, have you found ways to constructively use the time? How long of a commute could you tolerate?

About one mile. I rarely get to hear a whole song on the radio. The pain! I could walk, but there are no sidewalks and a lot of traffic -- very dangerous. There's an old story about an irrate drive yelling at Billy Graham (the driver didn't know it was him), "Where are going for Christ's sake!" Ol' Billy yelled back, "I go everywhere for Christ's sake." Shouldn't we all? For a year I commuted from Baltimore to Washington, D.C., for seminary classes. When God calls, the commute doesn't matter. It's for Christ's sake.
