My congregation: Salem Lutheran Church, Lincolnton, N.C.

My favorite disciple: Peter.

My favorite person in the Bible: Mary.

My favorite potluck dish: chicken pie.

My favorite movie: “Gone with the Wind.”

My favorite junk food: ice cream.

I prefer to sit here during worship: with the choir.

The TV show I never miss: “The Good Wife.”

Lutherans are great at: cooking.

My favorite volunteer project: an ice cream social to raise money for the soup kitchen.

The ministry I’m most passionate about: social ministry.

I feel most Lutheran when:I am at worship.

What “living Lutheran” means to me: loving, sharing, helping and caring for others.

I’m doing God’s work with my hands when: I help others.
