What regular activity helps you focus on God?

Do you have a routine beyond Sunday worship that helps you keep God as your foundation? If it helps care for that foundation, are the other benefits? Does the activity become more intense during Lent?

Daily prayer and scripture reading are the obvious ones, but other readings are helpful too. I especially find that reading both the spiritual classics and some unknown authors (particularly people I think I am unlikely to agree with) helps me focus and hone my faith. Whereas Lutherans are both evangelical and catholic, there is much inspiration and much we can learn from both Roman Catholic and American Evangelical writers. As life goes on, I take more and more comfort and pleasure in reading.

10W worship allows me the opportunity to experience worship on my drive to work. Helps center the day.
