Can you put a face on poverty?

As the number of those struggling financially has grown in recent years, so has the importance of remembering the problem involves people who are not just statistics. Putting a face on those numbers and telling the stories of those struggling can help remind us of the urgency of the problem. Do you have an experience to share that has humanized poverty for you?
