What factors led to your choice of vocation?

A job is a job, but a vocation can be a way of life. Choosing one is not something you do one day while looking at a list of possibilities. It’s likely that a long road led to the choice and many things along the way influenced the outcome. What forces can you now see that steered you to your choice?
